Nick's First Project

Earlier this year, Nick and I moved in together after four years of dating. I've known him for close to 15 years now, so it wasn't a shock that we would be living together.  As we were figuring out the furniture we needed for our first apartment, we realized our place was large enough for some upgraded furniture that we did not have. Looking through our favorite catalogs (Restoration Hardware, PotteryBarn...) we could not find anything that fit our price range. Dining room tables, dining room chairs, buffet tables, bars and coffee tables can be quite pricey and they weren't in either one of our budgets.  

This is where Nick became quite the Handyman and dove right into building us a dining room table. Nick spent a week straight heading to Ganahl Lumber to get all the right lumber and tools he needed.  Here are a few pics of our table in process and the final outcome!
